About Us
Training Beyond 2000 was established in 2000 to provide specialised training and consultation services, tailored to meet our clients’ needs. The training leads to a nationally recognised qualification.
Carla Unicomb is the Managing Director of Training Beyond 2000. Carla has extensive experience in vocational education and training, nursing, work health safety, first aid training and has been involved in education for more than 30 years.
Training Beyond 2000 has engaged qualified trainers with substantial experience in the aged care industry. Most trainers are registered nurses with at least 15 years’ nursing experience as well as extensive experience in community services and health education. We have trainers with specialisations in aged care, leisure and health, physiotherapy and management. We have also retained the services of a consultant physiotherapist who undertakes training and assessment for our allied health and manual handling qualifications. Our team includes an operations manager with substantial regulatory and financial accounting experience, who oversees all aspects of compliance and financial reporting.
Training Beyond 2000 conducts training throughout metropolitan Sydney and country NSW including: Upper and Lower North Shore, Northern Suburbs, Northern Beaches, Sutherland Shire, Inner West, Southern Highlands, Hunter Region, Mid North Coast, North Coast, Murrumbridgee and Central West regions. Courses can be conducted on site at a location to suit. We have forged close partnerships with service providers to ensure our training programs are responsive to industry needs.
Training Beyond 2000 will source government funding (subject to eligibility) to minimise the training cost for your organisation. We have delivered training funded by the NSW Department of Education since 2004. The funded training has covered qualifications and skill sets in aged and community care, allied health, community services and management.
